My van is loaded. I gotta say it's pretty heavily loaded. At times like this I wish we were a bit more popular in mainstream media...you know, so we could hire couriers for our gear or fly to gigs or something. I know that's a luxury, I'm just being honest. As it is I have Gareth as a passenger for 11 hours tomorrow. Yay... ;-)
That's nasty. I take it back. Gareth is awesome. Especially when he has a whole Pick n Pay chicken in his hands.
It's difficult to say what our expectations are fo this tour. It's bigger than anything we have ever attempted before. As we sat down together today for some last minute logistics and a run through some songs (yes, we still practice the day before tour), there is a sense of anticipation within the band. But for what exactly? I'm not too sure.
I think it's gonna be a blast and despite the long hours and many miles I refuse to do anything but enjoy every second of this experience. At the end of the day we are there to play music, to entertain and speak to people with our songs and our personality, and i hope that happens every time we step onto a stage. Time will tell what we end up getting out of it.
